Former combatants are collaborating with the municipality of Dabeiba; some work in the town hall, others work the land, and some work in the hospital. In this way, they are helping to build a better municipality for everyone. Some have had the opportunity to participate in political campaigns with farmers, and there has been a great deal of goodwill towards them.
