Many elders have died, and there’s no one to tell the tale.
The children of San Miguel practice traditional dances,
With love and joy, empathy is evident.
In San Miguel, there is love and life,
When people hear the Chirimía,
They dance with joy.
When I hear a drum,
My soul fills with happiness,
Come on, people of San Miguel,
Let’s celebrate life.
