If we now see the roof of the bus filled with groceries, it’s just a normal sight. But only the adults in our community remember all the times people were taken down from that vehicle, many of whom didn’t have the luck to make it home with their groceries—or even to make it home at all. That’s in the past. Perhaps we’re not at peace as we would like to be, and maybe we never will be, but when we compare this time to the past, we can say we now enjoy a great deal of freedom.
