A strong woman, yet with a heart full of pain and affected by the war, remembers that her only son was recruited by the guerrilla. He was later imprisoned for fourteen years, was released, and was killed in Ituango a year after his release due to his past. Now, her mother lives a bit more peacefully, remembering with sorrow, but finds solace in knowing that there is less likelihood of her grandchildren experiencing the same fate.
