Dr Julianne Funk is a peace scholar-practitioner for two decades, with a focus on the Western Balkans. She has worked with EPI since 2021, both as a project manager in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and then on behalf of the Training Academy. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences and an MA in Conflict and Sustainable Peace from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Before EPI, she worked with various local NGOs and taught at universities, specializing in faith-based peacebuilding and trauma-sensitive peace practice.
